Farm Day

Farm Day, 6 x 6, SOLD
.
There is something about the tidy rows of produce on a farm. Maybe it's the rhythmic pattern and geometry of it all. Maybe it's that they are so orderly in a chaotic season. (Probably!) Whatever it is, they do have a peaceful lure for me.

Very nice painting of this farm. "Hidden farm shed" as well is a wonderful piece with spectacular color. I can't believe you can create these outside! It is an amazing skill.
I enjoyed the piece in "Lines and Colors".
Congratulations on the Honourable Mention.

Thanks All, and just BTW - I don’t always paint everything outside. I hope I didn’t misrepresent! I painted Hidden Farm Shed outside on the cold, cold day, and took a few pictures. This one, Farm Day, is a little study I did from the photos. It always helps me in the studio if I actually painted on site, even if it’s another scene.
