Well, I wasn't quite done with the tomatillos. They are just so very cool and I wanted another try at painting those papery shells, AND the fruit inside which is such a beautiful vibrant green.

Love the blue with the green! And you've nailed the papery layers...beautiful!

I like it, unfinished or not. At least you can tell you are actually painting a painting everyday for the challenge.
Unfortunately in these things that seems to be the exception. Good work.

You've captured the m exactly, the papery husk and the shiny fruit. Believe it or not, they grow like crazy in our garden in the north. Our favourite recipe is tomatillo scrambled eggs (Rick Bayless). We're at the halfway mark, yeah!
