Pineapple Shadows - Twenty-five of 30 in 30

Pineapple Shadows, 10 x 8, oil on panel, L. Daniel © 2015
#25 in 30 Day Challenge
NFS

This pineapple has been waiting all week for it's moment on the "stage". I will tell you that it must be pretty ripe and ready to eat by now, because it smells so good. The warm spotlight on it simply enhanced the aroma while I painted all afternoon. The pineapple as a subject for painting was my father-in-law's idea. And it was a great one... I'll have to paint more! Thank you, Charlie!

It's beautifully painted and a great composition. I love the greens you used for the leaves (?)!
