Ocean Cypress

Ocean Cypress, 12 x 16, L. Daniel
.
This weathered cypress looks like it has survived many seasons of wind and ocean spray. I was drawn to its gnarly limbs and interesting negative shapes, and, of course, to the ocean-blue in the distance!

The simplicity in this painting makes it so alluring. Love the easiness with which its painted. Well done!

Beautiful painting! This cypress has such an interesting shape. Looks like an area with thousands of scenes just waiting to be painted! :-)

I really like this view, nice compostion, an ddark and light in the cypress tree makes a very nice contrast.

Love the addition of low fence line.

My word, Laurel! You are banging out masterpieces every day, since you left Austin. You obviously are enjoying your new surroundings. These are all beautiful.
