Sunlit Valley Morning

Sunlit Valley Morning, 9 x 12

This was the view off my porch while I was in the mountains. Early in the morning, the valley would slowly light up as the sun peaked over the mountain tops. Those terrifically long shadows get me every time.

Wow what a view! The colors and values are beautiful. Again, you know how to simplify. You really captured the morning light. Love it!

You are an ambitious girl to have your paints at the ready so early in the morning. That time of day is magical, but especially beautiful where you live. What an inspiration. I really enjoy your work.

It is a great view. You did it justice. Good color and values. I may have to visit there sometime too.
