Thanks all of you! Jala, I plopped myself right next to this plant and painted it outside. I stand when I paint though, so I just leaned over for the side view and made angle adjustments to my liking. ;)
I love this coming right after the full bush from yesterday. They compliment each other so well. I really like how you have just 'chunks' of paint, shapes, and it is enough...no petals, etc. Inspiring!

Pretty, pretty. Did you squat down and paint this, or pull a clump and bring it to your studio?
Wonderfully delightful! I like the gradations from dark to light and the way the touches of white take your eye around the picture.
