First Redbud

First Redbud, L. Daniel, 12 x 9

We always know that spring is arriving in Texas when the Redbuds begin to pop their buds. It's  a visual treat. We have about two weeks to enjoy the color, so I try and get out a few times to paint the crazy pinks and purples. This is my first redbud painting of the season and I'm hoping to get a few more painted before they all turn green and blend into the landscape.

We are having some peek out here too! So pretty and I love the composition of the tree just leaning there with the pretty pinks against the greens.

I love redbuds, and I'm so jealous that you've got blooms already! Beautiful piece, Laurel....

Spring! It's still winter here! Love the strong complements.

Gorgeous Laurel,

I've been having technical difficulties with my main computer, so I sometimes have trouble commenting.

I hope you know that I love everything I do.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXBarbara

So pretty! I wish we had Redbud in Maine. We're still pretty brown for the most part inspite of the 5 days of warmth we recently had.
