Windy and Blue

Windy and Blue, L. Daniel, 12 x 12

This is another piece from my painting day in Brunswick, Georgia with the Plein Air Affair (painting event last weekend). This lovely old Victorian home caught my eye, particularly appealing with the heavy Spanish Moss draped like a veil in front of it. The day was very windy, and I found protection behind a big church across the street.

Happy Easter weekend, all!

Another beauty! Wonderful movement in this painting. I can feel the soft coastal breezes.

I can definitely feel the windy breezes in this piece..and love the blue in the house back there.

This is so beautiful and so reminiscent of SSI.

It's wonderful how we see a peek of the beautiful old house in-between the blowing moss. Nice color palette.

I love the moss in the tree, painted just enough to know it's there but not the most important thing. Sounds like a great paintout in a beautiful place!

You did some amazing work at the Plein Air Affair! You are so talented. My goal is to get out there and be able to paint something I'm happy with plein air. I'm about 50% right now. :) You are an inspiration!
