Golden Fence Line, L. Daniel, 24 x 36
The Texas Hill Country is so beautiful in the spring - the wildflowers emerge and it's like a wonderland. I love driving down the back roads and finding unexpected spots to paint and do it whenever I can. This year has been rather full with preparations for my show and our daughter's wedding, so this piece was actually painted from a study done last spring. I can't wait to get back outside painting again - next week!

Beautiful! Love the way you painted this- very peaceful feeling and colors. Love fence lines and this is a favorite.
Bask and enjoy every moment of your show! Best wishes and so happy for you. Travel safe and enjoy your break. I am plein air painting with a new group in Athens on Sunday! Can't wait.
Pretty pretty pretty.
Laurel, what a wonderful composition. The fence line leads you right through the painting. Nice depth!
You certainly have a lot going on in your life - lucky girl! This is just a gorgeous, harmonious piece. Very peaceful, too!
I spent a week in Fredericksburg one time in January and the colors of the landscape at that time of year blew me away!I'd probably have to be hospitalized if I visited in early spring! This is just beautiful. I love the yellow sky.
Lived in TX for eight years and I can verify those wildflowers are prolific and just wonderful. I miss my Texan women something fierce sometimes. Honest, true and lovely. Great painting Laurel.
I agree. Beautiful painting and composition!
Wonderful painting! I love the warmer palette you used, and the fence - just perfect.

This is just beautiful. It seems quiet, warm, airy and peaceful. Right now I just want to go for a walk there. I wish I painted this. Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration.
