Marsh Sunset, 6 x 8, oil on panel, L. Daniel © 2015
SOLD
Everyone was exhausted as Day Two of my workshop ended. But like I said before, these students were ready for adventure. We all dug down deep, found a little more energy, and went out for a sunset painting. Set up in a line along the marsh, we painted fast and furiously in anticipation of that last bit of light. Painting the sunset is a challenge. In the last minutes, each second offers a new and delicious combination of colors. Anticipating the changes and knowing when to stop is always the trick.
