Shady Crowd

Shady Crowd, 12 x 12

On hot Texas afternoons, the shade is the only place to be. These cows found a cool spot and were not about to budge; no matter that they were practically on top of each other!

Hi Laurel,

Isn't this glorious! I have to wonder where the poor painter was. I so admire you painting in the heat. That is brave and the results are just spectacular.

I love the layers of greens in this tree.

Whenever I look at your work, I feel like I could guess the air temperature within five or so degrees, and the humidity level within 10 percent of the conditions you were painting in. It's truly amazing. And beautiful.

I love the fact that those cattle are merely suggested!
