On hot Texas afternoons, the shade is the only place to be. These cows found a cool spot and were not about to budge; no matter that they were practically on top of each other!

Isn't this glorious! I have to wonder where the poor painter was. I so admire you painting in the heat. That is brave and the results are just spectacular.
Whenever I look at your work, I feel like I could guess the air temperature within five or so degrees, and the humidity level within 10 percent of the conditions you were painting in. It's truly amazing. And beautiful.
