New Gallery and a Summer Show

I am very pleased to announce that I have recently joined the Buchanan Gallery on Galveston Island! It's a wonderful gallery and a beautiful space, and I look forward to seeing what will come of this new relationship. In addition, I was invited to participate in the Summer Group Show featuring 9 gallery artists, and tomorrow (June 11) is the opening reception. If you are in Houston or anywhere near Galveston, please come by, I would love to see you!

    This scene brings back many memories for me. I grew up in a beach town, and this is so familiar. Looks like what you see when you first get out of the car to start your day at the beach. Nice work!

    Beautiful choice of colour for the sand and the complementary colour in the grasses works so well! I particularly like the strip of bluey green on the horizon.

    I missed you Laurel, oh no! I wish I knew you were coming down. Tim told me not to long ago. I saw your paintings and of course there really great. I was talking to Blair Currin and he's wanting to get a little looser in his style, an influence maybe :).
