Glorious Morning, L. Daniel, 18 x 36
This is a studio piece inspired by a smaller, early morning painting finished at the edge of Lake Austin. I did a series of sunrises back in November, and this was my favorite "moment" of the morning. This painting will be included in my upcoming show at the Davis Gallery.
Please visit my website for a preview of all my paintings for the exhibit.

Oh Laurel this is wonderful! Glad you took one of your small pieces and enlarged it. I think there are a lot of small works out there that should have large siblings. Maybe you can start a trend?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That is a wonderful article and your works really sings. Clearly the gallery owner is proud to be promoting you! And it's refreshing to see larger work.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Congratulations on your success!
ReplyDeleteLaurel you really nailed this one it looks so good, and with just a hint of color variation in the trees to suggest form. The sky colors are amazing and the cloud fits the composition really well.
