This weathered cypress looks like it has survived many seasons of wind and ocean spray. I was drawn to its gnarly limbs and interesting negative shapes, and, of course, to the ocean-blue in the distance!
My word, Laurel! You are banging out masterpieces every day, since you left Austin. You obviously are enjoying your new surroundings. These are all beautiful.
The simplicity in this painting makes it so alluring. Love the easiness with which its painted. Well done!
