Today was a beautiful, blue sky day with cooler temperatures after our weekend rain - perfect for painting. I met up with my dear friend and great painter, Julie Davis, at a wonderful canyon land that runs through town. This path leads to some beautiful sunning rocks in Lost Creek - a popular hangout spot for the teenagers at this time of year.
My first reaction is complete excitement! How long did you stay after I left?! This is gorgeous--you really captured the moment. I'm completely humbled, as usual, but really--fantastic. And thanks for the shout-out. :)
I posted this on Julie's blog too but I am so jealous you two got to paint together today! I am inspired by both of your works from today and wish I could've been there to learn from you both. Awesome painting!
