I am very pleased to be participating in the annual American Women Artists Members Show. This is the first time in many years that I haven't made it to the festivities, but it just wasn't possible this time around. Thanks to Facebook and friends posting, I can experience a bit of the fun through pictures and stories being shared! If you are near Bennington, Vermont, please go see the show. It's always over-the-top inspiring and a feast for the eyes!

Hi Laurel! I'm new to your blog and I've enjoyed looking at your work! I especially enjoyed looking through your show tips from earlier in the year. I'm somewhat new to painting and never done a show, but I think many of these tips are good even when you aren't preparing for a show. Thanks!

This article was great. Being an artist and a blogger myself, I find it sometimes hard to come up with meaningful topics to blog about. I am currently trying to use my blog to teach others how to create art themselves. However, teaching is more time consuming than painting.
Thanks for the great information.
