Further In

Further In, L. Daniel, 8 x 6, SOLD

This is the first of a little series of woodland trails. I kind of got hooked on the color combination and just couldn't get enough. It seems to aptly convey the dappled light and quiet mystery of the forest. Stay tuned - more coming. :)

Oh yes! That cool purple path against that yellow light is just magic. So refreshing compared to all this grey gloomy light we have in NE right now.

Lovely color combination, glad you got hooked on this one! Been meaning to congratulate you on your recent win in the PASW associate online show. Such beautiful works, well deserved! Hope to see you in Dallas in April.

I really love how you handle the bits of light streaming through the tree branches! I study your paintings every time I see this type of backlighting. It's very difficult to get it right and you nail it every time!!

Oh to be able to stroll through one of your paintings, Laurel. Looking forward to your series! Is this Lady Bird's trail?
