Sunlit Arbor

Sunlit Arbor, L. Daniel, 6 x 8, SOLD

This garden gate leads to a quaint beach cottage on St. Simon's Island. I love intimate garden glimpses; and this one really struck me. It was on my walking route while I was visiting in April and May. Each morning I looked forward to seeing the sunlight beaming through the pretty picket fence.

Laurel, this is so beautiful and reminds me of what I would like our no sunshine, all rain and standing water spring and summer to become. It gives me a little pause in our gloomy days.
You have grown so much in your work, Congrats to you.

Beautifully handled backlighting Laurel. You've nailed the values to prefectly create this challenging lighting effect. The composition is also exceptional.

Beautiful light. Love the tree in the front and the backlighting. Wonderful just enough pinky flowers in the front for some contrast.
Hope you have fun in the Adirondacks:)
