This morning we woke up to a blanket of snow on the ground!!! This is pretty unusual for central Texas, so I couldn't resist the urge to paint it. I love the way snow makes everything quiet, and here it's especially true because everything shuts down. I grew up in Wisconsin and we used to pray for Snow Days as kids... I love them. :)

Sweet painting. I so want to try one. I was one of the few that actually made it to my work everyday this week despite the weather. If it's still there tomorrow...

Love the snow covered road. This is a lovely painting.
Lovely landscape. It is odd to think of TX having so much cold and snow. Of course here in Maine this winter we are getting snow about every 3 or 4 days. Pretty but makes life challenging.

in the snow. It was great. You did a really nice job of capturing the different values snow paintings present.
