Winter Roadside

Winter Roadside, 6 x 12 diptych, (6 x 6 each), SOLD
.
I love how the "bones" of the landscape emerge in winter, revealing its infra-structure in muted tones of grays and golds. These bare trees on the roadside offered me a great opportunity to study those neutrals.

Beautiful diptych. I love how the trees read bare without the painting of actual branches, and your grays and golds really reflect the Texas winter.

Definitely a place you would want to wear a pair of UGGS??! #*% What's up with that?! How rude of nicky08!!!

Thanks Trish!! I just deleted that whole UGG comment (for those reading this after the fact, nicky08's comment consisted of a bunch of ad links to her UGG product line.)

Beautiful, rich color in these paintings.
I got spammed too, despite my having word verification enabled.
UGGS are UGGLY anyway. And overpriced ;)

Very interesting concept... Although I usually crave color, this appeals to me too!! Nice... I like how you've made the two 6x6 into a diptych!!
