Abundant Blessings
A week or so ago I posted a drawing I had done for a local charity and an amazing thing happened... I got a commission to do a drawing for a new wine label for Perissos Vineyard in the Texas Hill Country! Their web site explains their name, "Perissos is a Greek word found in the Bible meaning exceedingly abundant, beyond what is expected or hoped for. It is our sincere desire and intent that our wines live up to that description. However, it is our lives that we feel have been blessed exceedingly abundantly by God -- We have been blessed richly and are so grateful, thus the name Perissos."
I love that - I am blessed to be a part of it.

Congratulations! I really like the line quality of this drawing, how there is value and movement in the composition.
Laurel, you really do get around! it's great that you work in such different styles. I remain, in awe, your fan Jann
I love your work! I want to be you when I grow up. (Oops too late.) Your style is so loose and strong and your colors rock! Not to mention your drawing skills. Congratulations on the commission. I will try the wine. Carol
Laurel,
Great news, the label with your drawing was applied to several thousand bottles of fine Texas wine on Saturday. The labels look wonderful. The Perissos website should be updated soon as well.
Gorgeous drawing.
